GetResponse Review
There are many email marketing options available, so it can be difficult to find the right one.
You're probably here because you heard about Getresponse. Do you want to find out if it's the right email marketing software?
This Getresponse review will cover everything about the product, including pricing, marketing features and templates. I will also give my honest opinion on them.
This review was written with the goal of helping you make informed decisions and giving you the confidence to choose whether this product is right.
To determine if Getresponse is the best email marketing solution, we'll be looking at multiple aspects.
We will discuss Getresponse as the best email marketing platform.
I will answer some of your most common questions about Getresponse, email marketing in general, and end with some answers.
This system made it impossible to sell high-ticket tickets. It uses the same skills, but in a more powerful and lucrative way.
What is Getresponse?
Getresponse allows you to do the following with your email marketing tools:
Getresponse has been focusing on a different goal in recent years. The app is now aiming to be more than an email marketing tool. Instead, it aims to be an "all-in-1" marketing and eCommerce platform.
Getresponse offers e-commerce, landing pages and webinar hosting. It also offers email marketing.
Getresponse recently introduced new functions, including webinar hosting and conversion funnels. This is to make it an "all-in one" marketing tool.
Getresponse was established in 1998 and is used by over 350,000 people and companies for their email campaigns.
Although the user base isn't as large as those of other email tools like Mailchimp, they are large enough to say that the company has a long history and will be around for many years.
Getresponse Pricing
Getresponse offers you four plans:
- Basic -- $15 per month, unlimited email sending to up to 1000 subscribers
- Plus -- Starting at $49 per month for up to 1000 subscribers
- Professional -- Start at $99 per month for up to 1000 subscribers
- Maximum -- Negotiable depending on the size of the list and other requirements
If you add more subscribers to your list, the prices will go up.
Monthly costs for the most expensive plans with 100,000 subscribers are $450, $499, and $580.
Get a 30-day trial for free that doesn't require you to enter your credit card information.
How does Getresponse Pricing Compare to its Competitors?
Pricing for Getresponse is reasonable at the entry level. Getresponse can host a database of up to 1,000 email addresses for a $15 monthly fee, while Campaign Monitor and Aweber require a $29 monthly fee.
Mailchimp's essentially similar Standard package costs $14.99 per month.
As you move up the pricing ladder, Getresponse's prices remain competitive.
With the Basic Plan, you will pay $65 per month to host 10,000 records in your contact list.
This is what it looks like in comparison:
- $4/month: less expensive than Aweber
- $24/month: less expensive than Campaign Monitor
- $40 per Month: less expensive than Mailchimp (Standard Plan).
Key Getresponse Features
Getresponse offers a much wider feature set than other email marketing platforms, even the Basic plan.
Getresponse includes all the essential features of an email app -- list hosting and templates, autoresponders and analytics -- but the feature set has been extended and transformed into an all-in one eCommerce and marketing solution.
It is important to consider whether all of this amounts to being a master of one trade.
Let's take a closer glance at the core features and find out.
Autoresponders
Autoresponders are enewsletters that you send to your subscribers at predetermined times.
Getresponse's autoresponder is a key selling point. It has some of the best autoresponder capabilities.
Marketing Automation Builder
Getresponse provides an advanced option for sequential emails, in addition to the 'drip'-type autoresponders.
This is called 'Marketing Automation'. You can get it with a 'Plus' or higher plan.
This function allows you to create automation workflows using a drag-and drop builder. An 'automation flowchart is basically a way to tell Getresponse how to handle a user clicking on a link or opening a specific offer.
Getresponse Email Templates
Getresponse offers 115 templates
There are only 115 Getresponse templates, which is lower than its email marketing solutions like Aweber (700 templates). Although there are fewer options, the variety is wide and includes modern designs that can be modified.
These templates are excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to use them in my email campaigns.
Getresponse's newest email builder offers a wide selection of web fonts.
Getresponse templates respond well to any screen.
To see the layout of each template's newsletter, you can view a sample feature.
Analytics
Getresponse offers a wide range of reporting and analytics solutions.
All the essentials are included, including the click-through, open, and unsubscribe rates. You also get some useful monitoring features that are worth mentioning:
- Time-based metrics
- One-click segmentation
- Email ROI
- Comparison of E-newsletter performance
- Per-user information
Aweber and Mailchimp have reporting capabilities as well, particularly around sales monitoring. However, Getresponse is without doubt the most comprehensive reporting tool.
Split Testing
Getrese's functionality is superior to other competitors in this area. Split testing allows you to test five different messages, which is quite contrary to other competitors that only allow you to use two or three versions.
Unfortunately, there are only 5 options available with different headers.
Landing Page Creator
Landing pages are a great way to generate leads for your ad campaigns. They can direct people to "squeeze pages", which contain clear information and well-thought data capture forms.
Getresponse has a unique feature that is not available to many of its competitors: a mobile-friendly landing-page builder
You can use it to create squeeze pages. It can also be used in real-time to compare conversion rates between these pages and determine which one performs the best.
This will make a big difference in the number of leads you capture, and how effective your email campaigns reach.
Webinars
These Getresponse Webinar Features are particularly useful.
- There is no need to install software or apps for webinars
- Record your webinars in one click
- Screen sharing
- YouTube video sharing
- Can upload Powerpoint presentations during webinars
- Online storage for playback files
Despite the negative aspects, there are some things to be aware of:
- Only Professional plans or higher allow for paid webinars
- There is a maximum limit of 500 people.
- Recorded webinars can also be stored in a limited file storage.
Despite these limitations, the webinar functionality is still very useful. This puts Getresponse in a two-step lead over the competition.
Another great benefit is the seamless integration of your webinar broadcasting tool with email lists, in addition to its superior quality.
Conversion Funnels
Getresponse has added "conversion funnels", a new functionality that is quite unique.
This is because it can operate an eCommerce business on its own, instead of being an email platform.
Getresponse now focuses on creating sales funnels without relying on other apps.
Apps and Integrations
If you are looking to integrate with other platforms or tools, there are approximately 160 options.
These can be used to link Getresponse with popular content management systems, eCommerce solutions like Shopify and WordPress, as well as certain CRM systems such as Highrise or Capsule.
Google has many integrations that you can use to import contacts and link landing pages with Google ads. This will help you to measure the effectiveness of your PPC campaigns. You can also add Google Analytics tags into your email campaigns.
Data Capture and Forms
You can use Getresponse forms in one of two ways
- You can add an HTML form you have customized.
- Getresponse allows you to create your own forms. You have access to a variety of high-quality templates you can modify to fit your site's design.
If you choose the latter, you can use a small snippet Javascript code to add to your site. This code can be in different formats, such as pop-up or inline, and it can also display in slide-up.
You can use either the Javascript or HTML forms to capture data into Getresponse custom fields or standard fields, depending on your preference.

Data Segmentation Options
Getresponse's best feature is the ability to send emails to multiple segments at once or exclude multiple segments. This is something I love about the product.
However, some of Getresponse’s competitors like Mailchimp and Aweber do not have this capability.
This flexibility is one of the main reasons Getresponse has been chosen over Mailchimp.
Mailchimp doesn't allow advanced segmentation functionality unless subscribers are to the Premiumpackage.
Getresponse Deliverability
The email deliverability rate is a key factor when choosing an email marketing platform. The percentage of enewsletters that reached you successfully is called the deliverability rate.
Email marketing companies may not be open about deliverability rates. Getresponse on the other hand, seems to be quite open about it as shown on their website.
We get asked frequently about our delivery rate. Deliverability is dependent on many factors including the content of your messages. Each mailing may have a different deliverability rate. Our overall deliverability rate is currently at 99% for all of our customers. - Getresponse
GDPR
Email marketing is now more difficult due to the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). There are stricter rules regarding consent when you receive newsletters, including how consent was logged.
Getresponse deserves praise for clearly informing customers about their GDPR obligations, as well unique GDPR fields that simplify consent logging.
You can enable two-factor authentication (2FA), which allows you to log in to Getresponse after a user has provided two or more details, such as a password, code, or code from a mobile authentication application.
Getresponse is GDPR compliant, with the exception of a sufficient consent functionality for cookies on its landing pages.
Interface/ Ease of Use
Overall, Getresponse is easy to use. It is intuitive and straightforward thanks to its updated interface.
The learning curve for Getresponse’s more advanced features, like its marketing automation platform is not too steep.
Getresponse's form designer and landing page creator tools could be upgraded. However, unlike many of the product's features, they haven’t been substantially changed in the new interface. They might therefore be more intuitive.
Support for Customers
Getresponse customer support was the best available for email marketing tools. It offered phone support, live chat support and email support as well as a wide range of tutorials and online resources.
Phone support is not available to those who have the enterprise-level Max plan. Customers who do not have the Max plan can rely on live chat, which is available 24/7, 7 days a săptămână, or email support.
Conclusion: Is it a scam? Is this a scam?
Getresponse does not represent a scam. It is 100% legitimate. It's 100% legit, and I highly recommend it.
Summarising, Getresponse offers the best option for email hosting and communication via an email database.
It's cost-effective and one of the most intriguing devices of its type where automation, email marketing and landing pages, webinars and distribution funnels can all be combined into one platform.
It is difficult to imagine a better email marketing strategy than this one. The 30-day trial period is also very generous.
Its webinar features have been a delight to me. It's feature-rich, and it is a great value for money.
Getresponse needs some improvement.
One of the most important issues Getresponse should think about is how to implement a cookie consent system on its landing pages, in order for it to be GDPR compliant.
It could also be beneficial to update the interface on landing pages -- it could even be more user-friendly.
It would have been much easier to use the data forms if they had more controls, such as the ability to toggle them on or off.
However, it is possible to create a successful, profitable online business without Getresponse.
It is also, unlike Getresponse which only a few days ago, real proof of real success by real people.
Steady Calls is the #1 Recommended Way to Make Money Online in 2022
Do you want an online business you can start where there is no competition?
You might consider something that could lead to passive income in the future.
Is that something you are interested in?
It's great!
Our Steady Calls team did some research into an internet business model that just recently emerged.
Many real estate investors and entrepreneurs have started building digital assets in anticipation of 2008's housing crisis.
Digital Real Estate
Local lead generation, or as it is sometimes called, is the process for building websites and generating leads to small service-based businesses.
It is actually quite similar to affiliate marketing, with a few key differences.
- Traffic that is less important can bring in more revenue.
- Locally, competition is virtually non-existent
- It's much easier to rank!
Be careful before you call it a scam.
Scams are reported to us. They are not promoted by us. You can find a Getresponse link anywhere.
Let's now look at the comparison.
Dropshipping allows you to rank for national keywords. This is difficult because of the amount of competition.
It's insane how hard it is to compete against 1,000,000 other people for the same product.
Let's now flip the script...
What number of people are you able to think of who are trying to chop down trees in Bossier City Louisiana.
It's not much.
Now that we have established that local lead generation has a lower competition than email marketing, let's discuss the money. It's all about the money, right?
What is the Money?
Dropshipping products that you sell would likely cost $50-$100. You're also unlikely to make a profit of Amazon's dropshipping services if it's not.
To earn a decent 5k monthly income, you will need to sell between 1,000 and 2000 products. This is a lot of work.
Let's now take a second look at the tree service example...
Tree service jobs are worth between $500 and $2,000 on average. Most contractors will pay about 10-20% of the final bill for referrals.
Now it's time to do some math...
Let's suppose you rank these sites in your local area. After three months, your site is on page one.
Let's just say the worst case scenario is that you end up with only 10 calls.
Let's also say that Covid hit the tree-service guy and his family extra hard last year, and he can only pay 10%.
This means that $500 per month could be earned by just one of these sites. Let's suppose you have 10 of these sites. You'd be making $500 per month if you had to generate that amount of traffic with ecommerce.
It sounds too good to be true ...?
It's not.
Where to Learn?
We are aware that you won't be able just to go on your own and kill the digital real estate industry from what we have spoken about it.
You might think ..."Dang, I don't know where to start ...".
Our team at Steady Calls took the time to research and select a program we could recommend. We also gave our approval.
It's not something we take lightly.
We finally found it after months of searching all over the internet.
This course provides hands-on training, step by step, that will show you exactly how to rank and build your new lead generation.
You can also use live chat on Zoom to connect with others, have a conversation, and ask any questions you may have.
This program is also different from other email marketing platforms that you will see in our reviews. It has a private Facebook group that is closely monitored, which means there is absolutely no spam!
This group is also active 24 hours a day!
