Vemma Scams - Is it Worth It To Be A Sellout?

What is Vemma?

Another network marketing program wants people to sign up and buy a product package, and then invite their friends and family to do the same.

Most MLMs do not teach you how to be a network marketer. In fact, many members make very little from promoting their products.

You won't get rich with a 30% commission on exorbitant supplements. This is especially true if most of your cut goes first to your upline.

If you want to actually earn REAL money online, check out our #1 recommendation here.

We must be honest and fair in this review .....

Although the company offers helpful methods for making money online, they also offer commissions. We think it is not enough.

I'll answer some questions about Vemma, network marketing in general, and the final part of this article.

Most importantly, I will show you how I built my internet marketing business to more than $40,000 per month mostly passively.

This system made me swear off Network Marketing for good because it uses some of the same skills but in a much more powerful and profitable way!

Let's now check out Vemma.

Vemma Review: Overview

Product Name: Vemma (Vemma Nutrition Company)

Founders: Lauren Boreyko and Benson K Boreyko

Owners: Brad Wayment (COO), Yibang Wang, MD. Ph.D. (Chief Scientist Officer)

Product Type: Health and Wellness MLM Company

Summary: Vemma is an MLM-based health, and wellness company, offers a variety of nutritional drinks, energy drinks, and dietary supplements. It was founded by Benson K Boreyko and Lauren Boreyko in 2004 and is based out of Arizona.

With the aim of making college students more financially independent, the company wanted to be called the "Young People Revolution". It was closed down by the Federal Trade Commission in 2015 and called an illegal pyramid scheme.

A settlement was reached many years later, with the change of business practices, payment of a fine, and transfer of business assets.

Who is BK Boreyko?

Vemma Nutrition Company was founded by Benson K. Boreyko. He is currently the company's CEO. He was also the founder of New Vision International, which was the precursor to Vemma. He recently founded Bode Pro, a new company.

Why Is Pyramid Scheme Illegal?

Pyramid schemes are illegal because they don't offer any product or service. Instead of selling products, they make a living by exploiting those who join them.

The pyramid's top affiliates lure people to work for them. They offer a portion of the new payments and most of the profits.

The immediate and high returns make it tempting to join the ranks. The pyramid will eventually fall because recruiters won't have enough people to fill it.

MLM Review: What Happened to Verve Drink?

Verve Energy Drink Company was founded by Arizona State University students to sell Verve.

The buzz quickly spread to other universities in the US. Because of their cheap selling talent, they targeted youth. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), later on, alleged that the company was an elaborate pyramid scheme and ordered the company to close down.

Federal Trade Commission (FTC)

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), an independent US government agency, enforces US antitrust law (non-criminal) and protects consumers.

After discovering that Vemma Nutrition Company and Vemma International Holdings, Inc. had been involved in pyramid scheming, the FTC filed suit against them.

Jessica Rich, Director of FTC's Bureau of Consumer Protection, stated, Vemma uses false claims of high-income potential, rather than focusing on selling products to persuade consumers to spend money to join their company.

Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Calls Vemma A Pyramid Scheme That Preys On Young Adults

Antoine Gara, Forbes staff writer, wrote that the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), ordered Vemma to be shut down because it was being used to deceive its members, mostly young adults.

Boreyko started the company in 2004. It quickly spread to colleges across the country. It earned over $200 million in 2013 and 2014. These college students were attracted to the extravagant claims of yachts and cars.

FTC claimed that the company's main business was to recruit distributors. The starter package costs $600, plus additional expenses for monthly products. Unfortunately, many who signed up fell for high-income claims and lost all their money.

Vemma appealed, and US District Judge John Tuchi ruled in favor of Vemma. The company was forced to cease multi-level marketing operations in 2015.

Vemma Agrees To Ban On Pyramid Scheme Practices To Settle FTC Charges

The FTC lawsuit compelled the company to cease all business practices, which were referred to by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) as pyramid schemes.

Federal court orders forbid them from paying affiliates unless the majority of their income comes from sales to customers (and not other affiliates). FTC also banned the firm from making unrealistic income claims or offering unfounded health benefits.

"Unfortunately excessive income claims and compensation programs that reward sales over recruiting continue to plague MLM industry," said Jessica Rich, FTC Bureau of Consumer Protection.

Tempe's Vemma Settles with FTC; Fined $238 million, Accepts No Wrongdoing

In 2016, Vemma and the FTC reached a settlement. The firm agreed to amend its compensation structure and to pay $238 million in fines. Vemma and BK Boreyko must submit compliance reports over the next 20-years. They were also required to give up some real estate and business assets.

Tom Alzakin and Bethany Alzakin were also fined more than $6.7 million and ordered to surrender some real estate assets and business assets.

Vemma and Herbalife

Side note: Bill Ackman from Perishing Square released a press release stating that Vemma had "significant structural similarities" to Herbalife following the closure of Vemma.

Bill Ackman also stated that Herbalife was a pyramid scheme similar to Vemma or other MLM companies that were shut down by FTC.

Is Vemma A Pyramid Scheme?

It was found to be an illegal pyramid scheme. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has now allowed the affiliates, mostly college students, to make money from sales without the need for recruiting.

However, it is possible to create a successful online business that is profitable.

My #1 pick proves this! It is also a real proof of success, unlike Vemma's, which was only a few days ago.

What is the Vemma MLM Product line?

Are you health conscious? Are you a believer in wellness? Who doesn't value wellness?

These are the main products offered by the company:

  • Bode Pro Burn - A dietary and energy beverage that boosts metabolism and energy levels and offers nutritional support for your body
  • Verve Zero Sugar is an energy drink that gives you an extra boost of energy without adding calories or sugar. It contains mangosteen and a mix of aloe phytonutrients.
  • Powell Perfect Bod*e Chocolate Shake Chocolate - A dietary supplement that helps maintain a slim body and improves brain function.

Verve Energy Drink is the Flagship Product

Verve is a mix of energy drinks and nutritional supplements. It is said to provide a healthy energy boost. Verve contains a combination of vitamins, mangosteen, and aloe phytonutrients.

Are Vemma Products really effective? Are They Worth the Price?

Let's face the facts, there will always be negative and positive feedback when it comes to health and wellness.

How does Vemma Work?

The company sells various health and wellness products including energy, dietary drinks, and supplements. Affiliates have the opportunity to become sales reps for the company.

It works in the same way as other MLM companies and saves money on advertising and marketing by recruiting members. Both ends should win in the end. However, affiliates can convince people to purchase expensive products.

Vemma Compensation Plan Review: Is Vemma MLM a Good Way to Make Money Online?

This is the most important part.

It is likely that you are reading this article to find out if the company can make a living.

They can help you make money. The path to success is not easy. Some people earn a little more than the minimum wage. Some people, however, are more outgoing and can recruit many associates to their downline.

You can make money in the same way as any MLM.

  1. The products are sold
  2. People are being recruited

However, the fact is that MLM's make 99% of those who work there either lose or break even.

Only 1% of people make a profit, and the 200-plus who do make a profit is only known to make $200 per month.

There is nothing to be proud of if everyone is honest.

If you like the idea of working from home though, and the ability to earn passive, recurring income...check out our #1 recommendation!

How Much Does It Cost To Join? How to Get Started With Vemma MLM?

Still interested? There are two options to join:

  • Silver Membership - $4999.95
  • Gold Membership - $999.95

The Gold Membership offers more items and is believed to have a higher success rate. Wait. But, there are other costs...

Monthly Costs

Unfortunately, the monthly sales quota is not met. Affiliates can only pay $68 per month to remain active. Let's look at your first-year expenses.

  • $499.95 to $999.95
  • $68 x 12 Months ($816)

So, your minimum expenses = $1,315.95 - $1,815.95 (1st Year). Other costs such as marketing, food, and training are not included. Are you still interested?

Vemma Compensation Plan

Based on the compensation plan, we will be able to determine the effectiveness of network companies. These plans are difficult to understand in the MLM industry.

Here are the three (3) methods you can make an income.

  1. Quick Start - Get a bonus of $50, $100, or $200 on your first sale, depending on the package you have.
  2. Builders - Get a bonus of $10 to $50 for each product you sell within your downline
  3. Cycle Bonus - Get a bonus of 25% to 30% on your total sales after you have reached your first "cycle".

Let us know what you think. What do you think?

Vemma can make you money, but you need to put in the hard work required to be an MLM marketer.

The program that helped skyrocket my online business to $40,000+ per month teaches some of the same MLM skills but shows you how to monetize them in a much, MUCH more profitable way.

Is Vemma Still In Business? Can You Still Buy Vemma?

Vemma remains in business. It has also changed its operations in order to comply with legal requirements. You can still purchase their products through distributors.

Review of Vemma: Unspeakable Truths

This is the bad part. Let's look at some of the negative aspects of the company.

Expensive Products

Vemma products aren't worth the money when they can be purchased online at a fraction of the cost and with the same benefits. The reviews are better for the other brands...

Subscriptions at a high cost

It is not a good idea to spend $500-$1000 upfront. This is a red flag. Are you sure college students can afford this high cost?

Hidden monthly fees

Where do you look for the $68 monthly requirements? The small print. You'll spend $68 per month on products you don't sell. You will end up spending more than you make.

Bottom Line: Is Vemma A Scam? Or A Legit MLM?

Is it a fraud? Vemma is not a fraud now that we can see. It now sells legitimate products and pays affiliates correctly. It didn't always work like that.

It also employs a legitimate multi-level marketing strategy. It is still a pyramid scheme disguised because of the necessity for recruiting.

It's not something I would recommend to friends.

Is Vemma the right business opportunity for you?

What is the average person willing to spend twice as much on energy drinks?

It's worth considering whether you should join, given all the negatives outweigh the benefits.

Vemma has a lot more options than Vemma if you are determined to become an MLM marketer.

Remember that I do not get paid to review any programs. Vemma is a great model for business, but it's possible to leave.

Steady Calls: The #1 Recommendation for Making Money Online in 2022

Our review team discovered a program that is top-notch in the real estate industry!

It's digital, but not real estate.

Yup, Digital Real Estate!

Vemma's weakness is in its scalability.

You have a limited amount of time and you only have so many people to reach.

MLM companies understand this! MLM companies know this and will push you to recruit others for your downline. You won't make it big as a one-man/woman show.

What if you could make more money from your local websites? Without spending hundreds of dollars on expensive products or spending a lot of time recruiting people who will sell under your brand?

This digital real estate program will allow you to make a recurring monthly income, even if you don't sell as often to your friends or recruit!

Does it sound too good to be true? It does, of course! It isn't, in fact, many business owners wish they had this skill.

You can simply build and rank a local website, and then forward the jobs to a business owner.

This applies to any service-based business such as tree service, plumbing, or towing.

What are the best ways to get paid?

It's simple, once you have sent the jobs to a business owner, he makes some money from them, you just ask for mutual benefit.

Based on the industry, a fair price per lead is between 10-20 %... let's take the tree service industry as an example and use the worst-case scenario.

Let's suppose you rank the site, and that only 10 jobs per month are received. Tree service jobs can range from $500 to $2000.

This means that you should have at least $500 per month in assets!

It's digital real estate, which is why they call it now. This is a rent payment.

It is easy to scale. There are no worries about:

  • Your upline getting paid before you
  • Encourage your family and friends to purchase from you
  • Every day, recruiting people

Remember Vemma? Only if you reach a monthly quota do you get any of the pie?

You can actually get huge FLAT RATE DEALS by taking the course that we recommend. This is truly passive income!

This training program will take making money online to another level. You will be guided by the owner of the program, who will also share his screen and occasionally speak to you.

Learn the importance of keywords and website names, how to send calls notifications via email, backlinking and more.

After the training program is complete, you will have access to a Facebook Group that we think is better than Vemma MLM. This group is more active.

Vemma is a company that pays only $10 per sale. You could get 10-20X the amount you are getting with Vemma.

Businesses will always need more leads and more jobs. It doesn't matter if the job isn’t coming from their website. They see it as it is...expanding their digital real estate.

Like Vemma's, many people are able to leave their 9-5 jobs.

You can have passive income from digital real estate, but most of your time will be spent with your friends and not selling to them.

You probably have a lot of questions.

So, check this out to learn more.
