Younique Pyramid Scheme - 7 Reasons Why You Might Want To Avoid It...

Younique is inviting you to join them

Do you hesitate to make a decision without learning more about the MLM industry and the sales company?

This article is for you if that's your situation!

The Younique Review is a great place to begin your investigation.

We will be reviewing Younique to determine if it is truly the best MLM program.

We will discuss whether MLM is right for you.

Younique and networking marketing generally will be answered at the end.

Most importantly, I will show you how I built my internet marketing business to more than $40,000 per month mostly passively.

I swear by MLM for good as it uses the same skills but in a more powerful and lucrative way.

What is Younique?

Younique, an MLM company that sells skincare and beauty products in the United States, is called Younique.

The MLM company was founded in 2012 by co-founder Melanie Huscroft and Derek Maxfield, who is also the CEO. It is located in Lehi in Utah.

Between 2017 and 2019, 60 percent of Younique was owned by Coty, Inc.

Coty's earnings increased in 2018, and Younique saw double-digit revenue growth during the second quarter.

However, Younique's product profits and sales fell year-over-year in 2019, according to Coty. Coty attributed the decline to decreased hype, a complex business structure, and growing customer awareness about the dangers of MLM schemes and Facebook's algorithm updates.

Coty announced in August 2019 that it would be ending its relations with Younique. Coty cited the fact that Younique was "clearly distinct" from other Coty businesses.

According to the company, Coty will soon sell its majority stake to Younique's founders once regulatory approval has been granted.

The terms of exit will not be publicized.

How Younique Started?

Maxfield and Melanie Huscroft, a brother and sister duo, founded Younique with the dream of making it a mission-driven business that would help fund The Younique Foundation. This foundation helps victims of childhood sexual abuse find healing and hope.

After 12 years in software development, Derek saw the potential for direct sales and wanted to capitalize on them.

Derek is passionate about simplifying the sales process through digital technology.

Younique hosts virtual parties and social marketing events instead of hosting a traditional party at home.

He loves creating simple, but powerful mobile technology that allows Younique presenters to manage all aspects of their business from their mobile devices at any time.

Melanie joined her brother to create a new experience in direct selling.

Since its inception, Younique has been able to benefit from Melanie's marketing, art, buying, and sales expertise, as well her flair for fashion, beauty, and advertising.

Is Younique Cosmetics Going Out Of Business?

Younique appears to be making progress despite falling product sales and profits year over year in 2019, with Coty cutting ties with them. A new line of beauty products is about to be released, including:

  • LUCRATIVE lip gloss
  • BEACHFRONT tanning drops
  • BEACHFRONT Body Cream

Is Younique A Mormon Company?

Both Melanie and Derek are from Utah, which is a predominantly Mormon state.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (also known as the Mormons) founded Brigham Young University, and Rick's College. Both schools were attended by both of them.

Derek was a missionary for the LDS church, which is typical for a young man of that religion.

Derek also wrote a book about his faith following his battle with cancer.

Which charity does Younique approve?

Derek Maxfield, his wife Shelaine, lamented that someone "should do something" to help child sexual abuse survivors pursue healing, hope, and self-esteem during a conversation.

They realized they could do more together, and founded The Younique Foundation, an organization that inspires survivors around the globe.

Shelaine Maxfield is still the President and Chair of the Board of Directors.

Is Younique A Pyramid Scheme?

The products are costly and you must sell $125 worth of products every four months. Most people don't make a lot from the MLM opportunity.

Distributors that do not sell this quantity of merchandise must buy it from the customer.

It is possible to make lots of money by recruiting more "presenters" to the company. This makes Younique look very much like a pyramid scheme disguised.

So, Is Younique A Pyramid Scheme?

Both yes and no.

Let's take a look at Wikipedia's description of a pyramid scheme.

Younique does not operate as a pyramid scheme, because they market products and sell them.

MLMs can be legitimate, but some MLMs may sell extremely expensive products that are hard to sell. They then require their members to sell a certain number (quota) every month.

The only way to make decent money and avoid losing is to hire more people.

Younique "presenters", also known as associates, distributors, or consultants, may make money selling expensive products. However, presenters need to be able to recruit more people to make money.

However, there are many options when it comes to building a business.

Even if you are determined to become an MLM seller, there are better options than Itnique MLM.

Remember that I do not get paid to review any programs. MLM is a great model for business, but it could lead to you losing a lot of money.

It's possible to create a successful, profitable network marketing business.

This is my #1 choice!

It is not like Younique MLM. Instead, it provides actual proof of success from real people just a few days back.

Is A Pyramid Scheme Bad?

Multi-level marketing is a term that some companies use to disguise the fact they are running an illegal pyramid scheme.

Even though a multi-level plan is not illegal, it could be violated if the methods or actions used to market the plan are unconscionable, unfair, or deceptive.

It is understandable that some people struggle to distinguish between legitimate multi-level marketing opportunities and illegal pyramid schemes.

The industry and government are constantly arguing about where the legal boundaries should be drawn.

MLM is the legal and permissible business model. It sells consumer products through an independent network.

Selling products and services must be the main source of compensation.

Pyramid schemes claim to be multi-level marketing companies that sell products to consumers.

The product is not even being promoted.

Instead, the traditional pyramid scheme generates revenue by recruiting others to market it.

New "distributors", when they sign up, are often pressured into buying inventory or high-priced services/products.

Signing up new members is the best way for pyramid companies to make their money. They often conceal entrance fees in order to cover costs such as training, computer services, or product inventory.

Pyramid schemes are not only bad but also wasteful of time and money.

Pyramid schemes are dependent on recruiting new members to generate revenue. They often fail because the pool of potential recruits is exhausted (market saturation).

The scheme collapses, and most people lose their money except for a few at the top.

How Much Do Younique Reps Make?

The 8 color ranks of the Younique Royalties Program determine presenter status: Black, White, Pink, Green, Orange, Purple, and Green.

The following factors determine the status of presenters:

  • Personal Retail Sales (PRS), are products you have sold personally.
  • CWS (Company Wholesales) - Products sold through the downline
  • Personal number of presenters that you recruit
  • Your downline recruits how many presenters they have

Let's begin with your commission rate, also known as Retail Royalties.

The top line of the image above shows that a White Presenter earns 20% commission and rises to 30% when you reach Black Presenter status.

Once you attain Pink status (aka Circle Royalties or First Generation Royalties), you'll begin earning commissions through your downline.

Let's now get to the more complicated part of the compensation program.

CIRCLE ROYALTIES: The money you make when someone you have directly recruited (you're downline), sells Younique products.

FIRST-GENERATION ROYALTIES: A percentage of the revenue you receive when someone in your downline recruits another person to your business. This new recruit then sells products (e.g. Your recruit creates her own downline and attains Green status.

SECOND GENERATION ROYALTIES: The amount of money you make when a member in the first generation recruits someone to sell Younique products.

THIRD-GENERATION ROYALTIES: are a percentage of your income when the second generation recruits someone to sell products.

What is the Bottom Line of the Compensation Plan?

How many people you have recruited and how many of those they recruit will determine the percentage of royalties that you receive (which can range from 3 to 6%)

What Does a Younique Green Presenter Make in a Year?

Green Status requires you to sell 500 units per month, have three presenters who are eligible (each must sell $125 each month), and have total circle sales in excess of $2000 per month.

However, you must have a minimum of $10,000 in wholesale income for your business.

This is the total sales of everyone on your team, including those you sponsored and those below.

Green status means that your commission will increase to 30%, and you receive an additional 5% for circle sales.

You will receive a 3% commission on any remaining profits. We consider these first-generation sales.

The minimum you can receive if you present Green status to be paid is $490

This sample calculation will help you understand the earning process better:

Personal Sales: $500 x 0.30 = 150

Circle Sales: $2000 x 0.05 = $100

1st Gen. Sales: $8000 x 0.03 = $240

Total: $150 + $100 + 240 = $490

Younique MLM can make you money, but you have to put in the work required to be a Younique Presenter. This is not an easy task.

This program helped me to grow my online business from $20,000 to $40,000+ per month. It teaches you the same skills as network marketing, but how to make them more profitable.

Who is the highest-paid Younique presenter?

Amber Voight, a Minnesota resident, is the highest-paid Younique presenter. She earned $33,000 per month in May 2014, along with 9,000 team members, and $1,200,000 in sales.

Amber Voight, a Black Presenter is the highest rank within the Younique Compensation Plan.

Steady Calls is the #1 Recommendation for Making Money Online in 2021

Our review team discovered a program that is top-notch in the real estate industry!

It's digital, but not real estate.

Yup, Digital Real Estate!

The only area where Younique MLM is lacking is scalability.

You have a limited amount of time and you only have so many people to reach.

MLM companies understand this! MLM companies know this and will push you to recruit others for your downline. You won't make it big as a one-man/woman show.

What if you could make more money from your local websites? Without spending hundreds of dollars on expensive products or spending a lot of time recruiting people who will sell under your brand?

This digital real estate program will allow you to make a recurring monthly income, even if you don't sell as often to your friends or recruit!

Does it sound too good to be true

It does, of course!

It's not, however. In fact, many business owners wish that they had this skill.

You can simply build and rank a local website, and then forward the jobs to a business owner.

This applies to any service-based business such as tree service, plumbing, or towing.

What are the best ways to get paid?

It's simple, once you have sent the jobs to a business owner, he makes some money from them, you just ask for mutual benefit.

Based on the industry, a fair price per lead is between 10-20 %... let's take the tree service industry as an example and use the worst-case scenario.

Let's suppose you rank the site, and that only 10 jobs per month are received. Tree service jobs can range from $500 to $2000.

This means that you should have at least $500 per month in assets!

It's digital real estate, which is why they call it now. This is a rent payment.

It is easy to scale. There are no worries about:

  • Your upline getting paid before you
  • Encourage your family and friends to purchase from you
  • Every day, recruiting people

Let's get back to Younique MLM... You can only receive what is left of the pie if your monthly quota is met...

You can actually get huge FLAT RATE DEALS by taking the course that we recommend. This is truly passive income!

This training program will take making money online to another level. You will be guided by the owner of the program, who will also share his screen and occasionally speak to you.

Learn the importance of keywords and website names, how to send calls notifications via email, backlinking and more.

After the training program is complete, you will have access to a Facebook Group that we think is better than the Younique MLM network. This group is more active.

Younique MLM is not like Younique MLM where you only get $10 per sale. You could be earning 10-20X that.

Businesses will always need more leads and more jobs. It doesn't matter if the job isn’t coming from their website. They see it as it is...expanding their digital real estate.

Younique MLM is different in that more people can leave their 9-5 jobs.

You can have passive income from digital real estate, but most of your time will be spent with your friends and not selling to them.

You probably have a lot of questions.

Check this out to find out more.
